In Memoriam: Dr. Genese Warr-Leeper
Dr. Genese Warr-Leeper, a dedicated professor at the University of Western Ontario, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 following a lengthy illness. As a professor for nearly 40 year, Genese taught many of the current speech-language pathologists working throughout Canada. She was an instrumental advocate for increasing the awareness of early identification of speech and language disorders and the impact that speech and language difficulties have on literacy and academic development.
