Contribute

If you enjoy writing and would like to explore current topics and trends in the professions, discuss your experiences with patients and clients or even share interesting stories about your life outside of work, we’d like to hear from you. We are looking for members and associates who are keen to write one-time focus articles as well as individuals who would like to become regular contributors.

To contribute:

• Please send an email to Samar El-Khatib, Communications Specialist at samar@sac-oac.ca with your name and profession (S-LP, audiologist or communication health assistant).
• In your email, please indicate what topic(s) you’d like to write about.
• If you want to contribute but need inspiration, we can help! Samar will send you a list of topic suggestions. You can also check the news feed on our website for ideas.

Communiqué is an award-winning publication:

Communiqué won the Best Electronic Publication Award from the Canadian Society of Association Executives in 2012 and 2013. Winning awards is wonderful; however, it doesn’t mean that we should stick with the status quo. Part of the reason Communiqué has been so successful is because we haven’t been afraid to embrace modern technology and seek out new ways to communicate with our members and associates.
